Clinical Training & Therapy Style

Sally's clinical training began by earning a Master of Social Work with a clinical concentration from the University of Georgia. More than a decade later she expanded her perspective and skillset by completing a Master of Christian Thought at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Charlotte, NC. 


She is a comprehensively trained and certified in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, as well as in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), a research-based therapy proven effective in helping individuals manage intense emotions and build more stable, fulfilling relationships.


Sally's therapeutic approach is grounded in education, coaching and support. She focuses on psychoeducation & skills that are practiced both in and out of sessions. She is intentional about creating a supportive, collaborative environment where clients feel safe to engage in meaningful work that fosters both personal and relational growth.


Known for her warm, engaging, and energetic demeanor, Sally adapts her approach to meet the unique needs and personality styles of each client.
